Re: How to do M.Tech after completing AMIE? Dear student, AMIE is equivalent to b. tech course. To get admission at M. TECH course you have to give gate exam. And need a good gate rank to get govt college. There are so many govt. Psu like IOCL, ONGC, HP, OIL, ISRO which takes employees through gate score. Best of luck. |

I live in northern area of West Bengal. It takes 18hours journey by train to reach Kolkata from my district. I have pursued polytechnic. And passed with 66.6% in civil engineering on this year. I haven't got a job yet. But maybe I will get to work as a trainee, under local contractors. What will be the best for me? Should I join IEI and pursue AMIE? As I am an average student..so..will it be convenient for me to pass? |

Re: How to do M.Tech after completing AMIE? Associate member of institution of the engineers(AMIE) students can for go higher studies like mtech or ms etc. To do Mtech after AMIE either you can get admission in any open university or if you want to do mtech from the reputed college then you have to apply for the gate exams. After scoring good percentile in gate you can get admission in IIT'S OR NIT'S OR top colleges of india and even you get stipend OF around 12000 from AICTE. |
