Re: Job opportunities after MCA? comparitive to previous year this year it is in a good position with more job opportunities .it companies are giving importance to attitude and technical and communication skills of a person. generally the pattern of selection for any company involves the following rounds 1) written aptitude (read rs agarwal aptitude and reasoning books) 2) technical interview (read c ,java ,dbms, os standard textbooks) 3) hr interview ( be confident, prepare for questions like "tell me about yourself", "strengths and weakness", "toughest situation faced you" this round is really a good opportunity to present yourself be positive show patience) all the best |

Job opportunities are in very large scale you can apply for in private companies like TATA, BIRLA, RELIANCE ,INFOSYS ,Patni etc. and you can also apply for government jobs like Banks jobs, post offices, clerical jobs etc.. |

After successful completion of MCA, you will be able to get jobs in the followings :- Software engineering and development as Trainee Programmer, software tester, software analyst, Software Engineer, software administrator or as a software programmer. The hardware and networking industry as designing, manufacturing and maintenance of computers. Research and development as crafting of circuits and chips and computer architecture. The service and application support industry as application management and system integration, maintenance of software application and its installation and much more. Initially you have to start your career as a junior programmer or trainee and you can grow at a faster pace and can become system analyst or can also become project leaders. Thanks |

It depends on your interest whether it is going to be the job of a Developer, Tester, Database Adminstrator or Hardware and Network Administrator or a faculty in any of these that you want to be. You can join in renowned Computer Application and Programming related air india. Even companies from abroad hire students with good Skills. Good luck! |

I have done my MCA from IGnou 2000, & i worked in R &D firm as a software trainee for 2 years, then i went abroad where i joined completely in different field . now i am completely out of IT field . is it possible to come back to IT field and i need to get some advice where i could start ,where i have good knowledge in sales administration, customer service etc. |

I am very glad to inform you that many software companies wanting more and more software engineers.e.g. TCS wants to recruit about 40000 software engineers and INFOSYS wants to recruit about 22000 software engineers.So, you can get job in these software company as software engineers. These companies are well known inthe world for their services. They will fetch you high salary ranging from 2.5 lakh to 3.5 lakh. I think the above are the best companies.
