NDA exam stands for National Defense Service which is conducted by UPSC twice inn a year to join following: Indian Army Indian Navy Indian Air Force Education qualification: 12th standard from a recognized board Science stream for Indian army and navy Any stream for Indian Army Age limit for NDA exam is 16.5-19 years. Only unmarried male candidates can apply NDA exam. Selection Process: Written exam which consist General studies, General English and Mathematics SSB Interview Physical and Medical Test Important dates: Notification in October and November April and May Examination in May and Sep 2017 |

Re: Can I appear in NDA 2017 exam at the age of 19 years? NDA stands for National Defence Academy. It is the Joint Services academy of the Indian Armed Forces namely Army, Navy and Air Force. To join in NDA, you must have to appear in NDA examination which will be conducted by UPSC twice a year. Candidates who are interested to join in any of the Indian Armed Forces need to appear in NDA examination by fulfilling the below mentioned eligibility criteria :- Eligibility criteria :- => You must be a citizen of India. => You must be at least 16.5 years old and not more than 19.5 years. => You must have passed Higher Secondary or equivalent from a Government recognised board. => Only Male candidate are eligible to appear in NDA examination. => You must be an Unmarried candidate. => You must be Physically and as well as Mentally healthy. As per the information you have provided in your query, you are 18 years 4 months old at present being a 11th standard candidate, so, by completion of your 12th standard, your age will be more than 19 years 6 months, so, you are not eligible to appear in NDA 2017 examination. |

NDA Eligibility - You should be Indian. - You should have passed (10+2) in any stream for Army and (10+2) in science stream with Maths subject for Naval & Air Force wings. - Your born should not be earlier than 2nd July , 1997 & not later than 1st July , 2000 to apply for NDA 2016. - Applicants should be Physically & Mentally fit. NDA Exam Pattern Paper I : Maths (300 Marks , 2.5 Hours) Paper II : General Ability (600 Marks , 2.5 Hours) which comprise of following Part A : English (200 Marks) Part B : General Knowledge (400 Marks) NDA Important Dates - Starting of Registration : 18/06/2016 - Last Date of Registration : 15/07/2016 - NDA Exam : 18/09/2016 |
