Candidates should be graduate in any subject from the recognized institute to apply for this post.Candidates should not be above 30 years to apply for this post.Those candidates who qualify in written test will have to appear for personal interview also.Candidates should appear for IAS (Indian Administration Services) which is conducted by UPSC to apply for this post. |

To become collector, you have to appear and qualify in Civil Service examination conducted by UPSC every year. Yes, you are eligible to appear for examination after completion of B.E from a recognised university. The age limit is 21-32 years. The examination is conducted in three stages and it is necessary to qualify in all stages for final selection for the job. Criteria required for it: *Bachelor's degree in any stream from an UGC recognized university. *21-32 years for open category and 3 years age relaxation to OBC candidate and five years to SC/ST candidate. *Indian Citizenship is necessary. For IAS officer, you must apply for Civil Services examination conducted by UPSC. The eligibility criteria for Civil Services examination is: >>You must have done bachelor's degree or studying in final year of bachelor's degree from a recognized university. Only passing percentage of marks is required to apply for examination. >>The age limit for exam is 21-32 years with upper age relaxation applicable to candidates of reserved category. There are three stages of this exam: 1. Preliminary exam. 2. Mains exam. 3. Interview. You must clear all stages to get into this service. |

Eligibility - You must have passed bachelor's degree from a recognized university. - Your age must be between 21 to 32 years. - Maximum Attemps : 4 times for General , 7 times for OBC Selection - Preliminary Exam - Main Exam - Interview Exam Syllabus - Quantitative Aptitude - Reasoning - Verbal & Logical Ability - English Language |
