Re: Am I eligible to do BCA course without opting for Maths subject? Yes, you are eligible to get admission in BCA ( Bachelor of Computer Application ) course in any recognised university. The eligibility to get admission in some of the institute in the course is that the candidate must have passed 10+2 from any recognised board. But for admission in better institute the minimum required eligibility is candidate must have mathematics ( science ) as main paper. So, you need to visit official website for university in which you want to get admission. |

Re: Am I eligible to do BCA course without opting for Maths subject? BCA stands for Bachelor of Computer Applications. It is a Bachelor's degree course in the field of computer Applications. The duration of BCA course is 3 years. To be eligible to pursue BCA course, you must have completed Higher secondary course in any stream from a Government recognised board. It is not mandatory to pursue Mathematics subject in Higher Secondary course to pursue BCA course. Admissions in BCA course are done on basis of 12th standard board examination marks in most of the colleges. Some top reputed colleges/ universities conducts an admission test/ entrance examination for offering admission in BCA course to merit candidates of the entrance examination. As per the information you have provided in your query, you have completed your 12th standard from a Government recognised board, so, you are eligible to do BCA course. |

Eligibility of BCA Course: Candidate must complete the 12th standard or any equivalent course. Candidate secured minimum 50% of marks in 12th standard. Candidate should have Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry subjects compulsory in 12th standard. Candidate should be citizen of India.
