Two courses you have mentioned are related to computers. If you are interested in computer related course then I would recommend going for BCA instead of B.Sc in IT. The Bachelor in Computer Applications has better scope comparing to the B.Sc in IT. If you really have to choose any B.Sc course then may I recommend going for B.Sc in Computer Science instead.

Now betweeen BCA and Pharmacy the choice has to be made by you. If you are into computers then BCA is the obvious choice. As far as scope is concerned I would say both BCA and Pharmacy are quite bright and depending on your interest any of the two course can be taken.

However there is one thing I would like to point out. There is better scope after B.Pharma course comparing to BCA. If you really want to make a carrer is computers then BCA along would not do much help. After completing BCA you will have to go for the Master in Computer Applications.

Once you complete MCA course, the jobs option would be plenty. You will have a great chance to work for top IT companies in India but only if you have scored at least 65 percent marks in MCA course. Else your chances would be bright working with some SME in the field of computers. MCA specialise in fields like:

Programming Languages

Trouble Shooting

Application Software

Internet

Hardware Technology

The companies where you can apply after completing MCA are:

Microsoft

Infosys

Wipro

IBM

HP

TCS

HCL

On the other hand the increase in number of pharmaceuticals companies, hospitals/nusing homes etc has made Pharmacy a great carrer option. Whether you want government job, private job or want to start your own work, there is good scope in Pharmacy.

Pharmacy Jobs in government sector

Various government departments like Health Protection Branch of the Department of Health and Welfare, the Pest Control Division of Agriculture, the Department of National Defense etc hire Pharmacists in India. Some of the jobs include:

Pharmacist in hospitals

Technician in college

Research Analyst

Drug Inspector

The scope in the private sector is equally strong.

Pharmacist selling medicines

Pharma & Biotech companies

Pharmacist Consultants

Food & Drug Industry

Re: Which course is having better career scope between B.Sc IT, Pharmacy and BCA?

All the courses you have mention are good courses whether it is B.sc in IT ,Pharmacy or BCA.

In all of them you will find lot of career and job opportunities.

But you have to keep few things in mind that you are doing any one of the course from good institions and you are doing the course in which you have more interest.

India Pharma Industry is four/fifth largest Industry in world and all of multinational companies are investing hugely in our country because of

number of reasons like diversity ,easy labour and geografical reasons.

Because of this the employment in this sector is more than other profession and keep on increasing in coming future also.

Now some not known profession also come up like Medical writers , etc also required in this field.

Information Technology sector is also a sector which is generating maximum employment for our country.

You could choose courses among BCA and Pharmacy.

These two seems better courses.

Choose among these courses but choose the course in which you have more interest.

If you get the good institution also for the course in which you have more interest than it would be a plus point.
