Eligibility criteria for JEE 2017:---

1). Candidate should have passed 12th in science stream.
2). Age should be in between 17 to 25 years

YES,
Your ward will be eligible for JEE-2017 exam because the maximum age limit to appear for the exam is 25 years and minimum is 17 years for the candidate belonging to open category and there is relaxation in upper age limit by 5 years for SC/ST/PwD candidate.
JEE 2017 (ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA):-
1)You must have passed senior secondary with physics , chemistry and maths as a compulsory subjects.
2) You should have passed or appearing 12th class in the year of 2016 or 2017 with at least 5 subjects.

You will complete your 17 years on 06/04/2017 , then you are eligible to apply for JEE Main 2017. Age criteria for JEE Main is that One should have age less than 25 years on 1st October of the examination year.

JEE Main 2017 Eligibility
- You must have passed senior secondary with physics , chemistry and maths as a compulsory subjects.
- You should have passed or appearing 12th class in the year of 2016 or 2017 with at least 5 subjects.
- Your born should be later than 1st October , 1992 to appear JEE Main 2017.
- You can take up JEE Main only 3 times.

JEE Main Exam Pattern
- Total Questions : 90
- Total Marks : 360
- Time Duration : 3 Hours
- For each correct answer , 4 marks will be allotted & For each incorrect response , 1 mark will be deducted.

JEE Main 2017 Tentative Dates
- Official Notification Will Release : November , 2016
- Last Date of Application : January , 2017
- Availability Admit Cards : March , 2017
- JEE Main Exam (Offline) : 1st Week April , 2017
- JEE Main Exam (Online) : 2nd Week April , 2017
- Result Declaration : April Ending , 2017
- Counselling will Start : July , 2017

JEE stands for Joint Entrance Examination. It is a National level entrance examination which is conducted for offering admissions to Undergraduate Engineering programs in IITs, NITs, IIITs and other CFTIs. There are two parts of JEE examination known as JEE Main and JEE Advanced examinations.

Eligibility :-

=> To be eligible to appear in JEE Main 2017 examination, you should have passed 12th standard or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects from a Government recognised board in the year 2017 or 2016 or 2015.

=> Only candidates who have qualified and secured top 1,50,000 rank in JEE Main 2017 examination are eligible to appear in JEE Advanced 2017 examination.

Age Criteria :-

=> There is no minimum age limit required to appear in JEE Main 2017 examination.

=> The maximum age allowed to appear in JEE Main 2017 examination is 25 years as on 1st October, 2017. Upper age relaxation of 5 years is applicable to SC, ST and PWD Category candidates to appear in JEE Main 2017 examination.

Yes, you are eligible for JEE 2017 exam.

Those candidates who have completed 12th standard from a recognized board with physics, chemistry and mathematics with above 50% marks are eligible for JEE exam. 5% marks relaxation is provided for SC/ST category candidates.

Yes, your ward will be eligible to appear for JEE-2017.

Eligibility criteria for appearing JEE exam:-

-The candidate should have passed 12th with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

-The candidate must have studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry / Biology / Computer Science / Bio-technology as optional subjects in 10+2 .

-The maximum age limit to appear for the exam is 25 years as on 1st October of the year of examination and minimum is 17 years for the candidate belonging to open category.There is relaxation in upper age limit by 5 years for SC/ST/PwD candidate.

-The candidate belonging to open category must have born on or after October 1, 1992 and SC/ST/PwD candidate should have born on or after October 1, 1987 to appear for JEE in 2017 .
