General awareness includes current affairs, Have some points from news papers. There are books that could help you solve aptitude.. Book written by R.S.Aggarwal. Both verbal and non verbal reasoning questions will be available,. In English be thorough of grammar portions and synonyms and antonyms. All the best |

The written test consists of both objective and subjective questions. There are several helpful books available in the market for your preparation. Some of these are: i. Upkar's State Bank Probationary Officer's exam, By T.S Jain. ii. Ramesh SBI bank PO exam guide ,By RPH editorial board, iii. Oswaal chapter wise solutions of bank PO exam, By RPH editorial board, iv. Galgotia State bank Probationary Officer's guide, By Ravi Chopra other than these there are various online study materials for your preparation. 1) General Knowledge / Current Affairs- You can prepare this section with help of daily newspaper reading and magazines like Pratiyogita Darpan, etc. Also you can refer some basic GK books like Panorma year book, etc. 2) English- For this section, you can prepare by building up your grammar and verbal reasoning. Refer British English Grammar by Ashok Kr. Singh. 3) Maths (Class 10th level) and 4) Reasoning- The questions are really easy but time management is required to score well. So, prepare with R.S.Aggrawal book for maths and reasoning. Some sample papers are attached with this message, download them from the attachment files.
