NEET stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test and it is an entrance examination held by CBSE for admission in undergraduate medical courses like MBBS & BDS in various government medical colleges.

As far as you are concerned about the question pattern of examination, then the question consists of 180 questions of 4 marks each. Further this 180 questions are divided into three sections which includes sections of (i) Physics consisting of 45 questions,(ii) Chemistry consisting of 45 questions and (iii) Biology consisting of 90 questions. Further the Biology section is sub divided into two sections of Zoology and Botany each comprising of 45 questions.

Also as you are concerned about the qualifying marks required in each section for qualifying the examination then I would like to inform you that there is no such qualifying marks subjectwise. Only the overall qualifying marks is considered which keeps on fluctuation depending upon the factors like number of candidates appearing, difficulty level of question paper, etc. . For this year the qualification marks in going to be declared around 18th August 2016.

For further details regarding the same examination and getting last year papers you can log on to the link www.aipmt.nic.in.
