To become an air hostess the following eligibility criteria is required:- -You need to have a graduate degree in any discipline of your choice from a recognized university. Sometimes a course from a flying institute comes in handy to know about the profession better. -Age Criteria: 19-27. -You need to have a passport before applying. -Physical Standards:- Female air-hostess must have the height of 157.5 cms and a male air hostess needs to have 163 cms. You should have minimum uncorrected distant vision of 6/24 in each eye. Since planes goes across sea routes so you should know swimming too. In addition to that it is important to have good command over English language. |

Re: Can I become an Air Hostess with a height of 5 '0 inches? The preferred height for candidates is between 152 cms to 170 cms. Other than height criteria, the minimum academic qualification is 10+2 passed or appearing from a recognized board. You need to have good communication skills as well as interpersonal skills in order to qualify interview for becoming Air Hostess. You are eligible for Air Hostess with a height of 5 inches. |

Eligibility to become an Air Hostess: ->You should have completed your 12th class from any recognized board. ->Your age should be in between 18 to 25 years. ->You should have a minimum height of 5'1 inches. ->You should be unmarried. ->You should hold an Indian passport. ->You should be mastery in spoken Hindi,English and any other foreign language. If you fulfill the above mentioned criteria you can apply for this course. |

Re: Can I become an Air Hostess with a height of 5 '0 inches? Let us first know the eligibility criteria and then we will conclude that whether you are eligible of not-
Now 5 feet are 150 cm whereas to be eligible one needs 157.5 cm. Other criteria an be worked upon but unfortunately you cannot acquire more height and hence you cannot apply for the post of air hostess. But, there are many other posts at the airport like the support staff and the technical staff in which based o your qualification, you can check your eligibility. |

No, you are not eligible for the Air Hostess job because the minimum height required to become Air-Hostess is 154, and your height is 152 CM. Complete eligibility criteria to become an Air hostess is : 1- Age: 18 to 25 Years 2- Minimum Qualification: 10+2 3- Good Communication and Inter personal skills 4- Unmarried and below the age of 25 years. 5- Physical fitness, a clear complexion, pleasing personality, 6- Height: preferably between 154 cm to 170 cm |

Eligibility criteria required for Air Hostess :- -The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent or Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. -The candidate with diploma/ degree in Hotel Management or tourism management get preferences. -The age limit should be from 19 years to 27 years. Physical Requirements : Height : For female candidate : 157.5 cms and For male candidate : 163 cms. Weight : in proportionate with height. Eyesight : 6/24 in each eye.Correctable to at least 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in the other eye. -The candidate should be unmarried and have good personality . -The candidate must posses passport. -The candidate must have quality diction, good pace, proper pitch and be enthusiastic in speech so that listeners can easily understand all the spoken words. -The candidate must be proficient in English language. |
