RPF:

In the Executive Branch and Fire Service Branch of the Railways the Railway Protection Force Central Selection Board recruits male candidates for the posts of Constables and Sub-Inspectors.

Exam Pattern:

The exam pattern for the post of Sub Inspector in Fire Service Branch and the Executive Branch is given below.
The exam is held in three stages.
First of all is the physical fitness test. Then the next stage is preliminary efficiency test ant the last and the third stage is a written test.
There are some standards of height and chest which the candidates are required to fulfill for being eligible to sit for the Preliminary Test. Candidates qualifying in the preliminary test are allowed to sit for the written test.
There are examination centres for the Preliminary Efficiency Test (PET) and Written Tests. These examination centres are under the Zonal railways.
The exam pattern for the post of constables is given below.
This exam is also held in three stages. The first stage is Physical Efficiency Test followed by a Written Test. The third stage is Viva Voce or the Interview.
The candidates are required to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test at first. Those who pass the test are eligible to take the written test. The written test comprises of IQ, Essay, and General Knowledge and Current Affairs. The qualifying candidates in the written test are called for the interview or the Viva Voce.
Those candidates who qualify the Physical Efficiency Test have to undertake the written test comprising of General Knowledge and Current Affairs, IQ and Essay. Candidates who qualify will be called for Viva voce or interview.
The selected candidates have to undergo training. During the period of training stipend and allowances are paid to the trainees.

You should solve the question papers in the instructed time limit.
This will help you building confidence in the exam and also you will get to know your weaknesses.
