Re: Qualifications required to join CBI after graduation? Physical fitness criteria for the same? CBI stands for Central Bureau of Investigation. Central Bureau of Investigation examination conducts every year in the month of February by SSC(Staff Selection Commission). These are the required for attempting the CBI examination, mentioned below:- * Candidates must have passed Bachelor's degree from any recognized university with 60% marks. * 50% marks required for OBC and SC/ST candidates. * Nationality:- Indian. * Age limit:- 20-27 years. * Age relaxation:- 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates. * Physically and mentally fit. * Eye sight:- 6/6 one and 6/9 another side. * Chest:- 76 cms. * Height:- 165 cms for Men, and 155 cms for Women. The selection procedure of CBI examination is based on these:- * written Test. * Personal Interview. * Medical Test. |

Re: Qualifications required to join CBI after graduation? Physical fitness criteria for the same? The recruitment in CBI is done on the basis of performance in SSC CGL entrance examination. The examination is conducted every year. The minimum qualification is bachelor degree from recognised university. The required physical fitness for recruitment in CBI as SI is For male candidates :- Height - 165 cm. Chest - 76 with expansion. For Female candidates :- Height - 150 cm. Those candidate who have completed graduation degree from a recognized university with any discipline are eligible for CBI exam. Age criteria :- (i) Assistant Grade & Sub Inspectors in CBI – Age between 20 to 27 year CBI , Physical standard for male candidate :- i) Physical Standards ( Minimum ) Height 157.5 cms. Chest 81 cms. ( expanded of 5 cms. ) ii) SSC Physical Test : Walking : 1600 metres in 15 minutes. Cycling : 8 Kms. In 30 minutes. CBI , Physical standard for female candidate :- i) Physical standards ( Minimum ) Height 152 cms. Weight 48 Kgs. ii) Physical Test Walking : 1 Km. in 20 minutes.
