Nice to know your curious,
As you know, GMAT and CAT both are different form each other and exam is also conducted differently. I would like to suggest you to prepare one thing at one time because preparing both GMAT and CAT may effect on preparation. And it may also reduce your rank in this this way you will not able to take admission in good college.

There is a lot of GMAT oriented books available in the market. You may take book from there.

1. know your syllabus.
2. know your all chapters.
3. Make a daily routine of study.
4. keep clear all the concepts.
5. Make strong your weak point.
6. Know your examination pattern.
7. solve previous year paper.

And most important secret is "keep practising" it. Because experience is true knowledge.

Tips to prepare yourself for GMAT Entrance Exam:

Make a time table that can be followed by you because you have to give time for CAT exam preparation also and follow it strictly.

Don't get confused that for which one you have to prepare more because both the exams are equally important for you so give time to each subject daily.

Don't cram the things.

Clear your basics and concepts crystal clear.

Keep yourself update with current affairs.

Subscribe some magazines related to your preparation which can be weekly or monthly.

Most important is to believe in yourself and not to compare yourself with others.

GMAT stands for Graduate Management Admission Test.
It is conducted for admission in various management programs.
Almost 2100 universities all over the world provide admission through GMAT in about 5900 courses.

CAT stands for Common Admission Test.
It is conducted for admission in various management programs in IIM(Indian Institute of Management).

If you are preparing for CAT, then you should give your full attention towards it only as seeking for preparation of GMAT at the same time will affect your score in CAT then you will not be able to take admission in top colleges because pattern of both examinations are very different from each from each other.

But, if you are determined for preparation of GMAT by yourself then you must have these books
-Barron's GMAT
-Barron's GMAT Maths with workbook
-Barron's Essential Words
