The UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) exam is a exam which gets you entry in the defense sector and Public services. So many exams comes under UPSC like:
CDS
NDA
IES
Civil Services exam
CISF

For the UPSC exam the candidate must have following eligibility:
@ Candidate must be a citizen of India.
@ Candidate must have qualification of graduation or any bachelor's degree from a recognized university with at least 60% marks.
@ Candidate must be physically fit and fine.
@ Candidate should not have any criminal record.
@ Candidate age must be above than 18 years and less than 30 years. In case of OBC and SC/ST candidates they got relaxation of 3 years and 5 years simultaneously.

UPSC stands for Uunion Public Service Commission and it is the examination conducting body.

It conducts various examination for recruitment of candidates in various sector. Some of entrance examination are :-

Civil Services.

Combined Defence Service.

Indian Engineering Service.

So, to get details for any particular examination in detail visit at www.upsc.gov.in.

the qualification required for UPSC exam is that you need to be a graduate.You can give UPSC exam in your final year.You must be below 32 years of age

  • Candidate must have completed their 12th science with atleast 60% from recognise board.
  • Age should be Between 16.5 to 19 years.
  • Citizen of India.

Hello Dear,

Eligibility Criteria For UPSC CSAT exam

should be graduate from a recognized university in any stream
(marks or percentage doesn't matter)

Final year candidate are also eligible

age should be 21 to 30 years
age relaxation for OBC candidate 3 years
age relaxation for SC/ST candidate 5 years

Nationality- must be Indian

No. of attempts

General- 4
OBC- 7
SC/ST- no limit

IMPORTANT DATES

notification 02/02/2013,
last date of submission: 04/03/2013
Date of prelim exam. 19/05/2013
