To join Indian Air Forces,candidate has to give NDA exam This Test is conducted Twice a year in April and September The upcoming date for the test is 23 April 2017. If you clear this test,you will be given admission into 'Indian Naval Academy Course' and you will undergo 4 year BTech course. Later then you will be appointed to vacancies in navy The candidate has to fill online form for NDA exam. Eligibility criteria for NDA is : 1) Citizen of India 2)Should not be married 3) 16.5 to 19.5 year old 4)+2 passed with Math and Physics 5) Physically and mentally Fit. |

If I am right, You are not willing to do ground level job or desk job in Air force. Despite you are willing to be a professional flyer and want to work actively. For this, you'll have to complete your graduation first. After successful completion of graduation, you'll have to appear in Common defense services test (CDS). This test is for the officer level personnel selection. |

First thing I would like to let you know that you cannot join Indian Air fporce after your Class 10th but you can join as an officer in Indian Airforce through NDA entrance examination. * NDA stands for National Defense Academy and NDA entrance examination is held by UPSC twice every year. Also the minimum requirement for appearing in the same examination are as here under :- a) You must be an unmarried Indian male applicant, b) Your age must be within 16.5 years to 19.5 years. c) You must have completed your Class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as main subjects from a recognized university. d) You must satisfy the physical fitness norms as per the notification chart. Apart from this you have the opportunity to join the same after your graduation through AFCAT and CDS examination. To be eligible to join in Indian Air Force, the minimum educational qualification required is completion of 12th standard or an equivalent examination from a Government recognised board. You have to appear in NDA examination conducted by UPSC to join in Indian Air Force. Eligibility criteria that you need to satisfy to appear in NDA examination to join in Indian Air Force is stated below :- => You should be an Indian National. => You should have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination with Mathematics and Physics subjects from a Government recognised board. => You should be at least 16 1/2 years and not more than 19 1/2 years of age. => You should be an Unmarried Male candidate. => You should be physically as well as mentally healthy. After qualifying the NDA written test, you will be called for further rounds like Document Verification, Medical Test, etc.,. If you perform well in all the rounds of the NDA recruitment process, finally you will be selected into Indian Air Force. |

You can join the Indian Air Force after 12th through the NDA entrance examination as an Officer but you can also join as Clerk posts through common rally conducted by Air Force for different post. The eligibility to appear for NDA is :- Candidate must have passed or pursuing 10+2 with Mathematics and Physics as main paper. The age limit is between 16.5-19.5 years. Only male candidates are eligible. The examination is conducted in two stages as Written and SSB and candidates have to qualify in both stages for final selection.
