Re: Minimum age required for admission in LKG The minimum age required to get admission in lower LKG is minimum 3 and half years. Where as some schools of India also allow admission to the students of 3 complete years. |

Re: Minimum age required for admission in LKG As per the rules the minimum age required to get admission in LKG is three and half years as your son's age is only 2 years hence he is not eligible to get admission at this age. Even to get admission in nursery class a candidate must have at least age of 3 years. So you can get admission to him in a play school. |

Re: Minimum age required for admission in LKG The minimum required age for admission in LKG is three years and six months as on the 1st of June of the year of the application. Only this age group children can seek admission to L.K.G at the CBSE (Central Board for Secondary Education) school. So, your son is not eligible for admission in LKG at this time. |

Right now your child will not get admission in any school of CBSE in Tamil Nadu for LKG. Its better for you to admit her in a play school because at the age of 2 or 2 and half year child should go to play school. After that you will be able to admit your child in a school for LKG class. |

How ever a child can be admitted below 3 years in a play school where he will learn how to get adjusted to school conditions in the later stages. So, minimum age of LKG student is 4 years. |

Minimum age required for admission in LKG Respected Sir, My son is 2 years old, can he get admission in LKG school (CBSE) of Tamil Nadu? If not then what is the minimum age required for admission in LKG? Please answer as soon as possible. |
