friend you concentrate on gate exam ..
it is not too easy but you prepare well ..
go from your basic subjects ...join some
mock test, and also see some study material
(gate forum)....
then crack the exam take admission in IIT or NIT..
take MTECH with subject which you like most (design)..
and there after you sit in HAL exam....
and do your favorite job......

Re: Information about postgraduation courses

This is information for post graduation in Aviation. As far as Aviation Management and related programs, you might check the following:
Daniel Webster College, Nashua, New Hampshire, USA offers an MBA in Aviation

Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona Beach, Florida and Prescott, Arizona, USA, offers several masters degrees in aviation including an MBA in Aviation and a Masters in Aviation Safety.
Middle Tennessee State University and Florida Institute of Technology both offer masters degrees in Airport Management and Planning
Southern Illinois University Carbondale and University of Nebraska at Omaha both offer Master of Public Administration degrees in Aviation Administration

I hope that this list of schools and their offerings will be of assistance. As for the prospects in each area, you need to ask that question of each school as you apply for information about the respective degree program.
And for post graduation in Tool designing visit it

you can persue higher studies in like m.tech,mba,etc.

as you want to do pg in aviation or tools i advice you following courses.

2)you can also opt for aviation enviromental design tool(AEDT).
Welcome to Frankel and Associates, Incorporated
3)you can also opt for airspace design tool (ADT).
ETC.
4)you can also opt for m.tech in aeronautical and aerospace engineering. for much better career option.

Re: Information about postgraduation courses

Hi,for doing PG you first confirm whether you would like to continue in engineering field itself or some other areas. If u hav good leadership quality, you can try for MBA.because engineering+MBA is a good combination.Else you can appear in Civil Service Examinations.U have 24 sectors.Once you entered in it,you are settled. To continue in engineering itself,U make another attempt in GATE,try for ME in reputed colleges. If you found that you are interested in tool designing, better you go for ME in tool designing in colleges like CITD

Re: Information about postgraduation courses

Hey Vaibhav. So u want to pursue your postgraduation in mechanical fields. The most obvious choice for you is M.E./M.Tech in various fields corresponding to Mechanical Engineering like Automotive/Automobile Engineering/Computer Aided design/Energy Engineering/Mechatronics/Aviation etc.
There are a lot many other options for disciplines as well for those with Mechanical background. Most Indian Engineering Institutes provide M.E./M.Tech programmes in these fields. While most Institutes use GATE scores for shortlisting candidates for their M.E./M.Tech programmes many have their own entrance exams.
Just be in touch with entrance-exam.net or this forum for any updates about all the exams. Just to bring to your notice GATE registeration is already open. For further information regarding how to apply etc refer to the link: GATE 2010
