Yes, you can join defence forces after completing your graduation. You are eligible after completing your graduation in commerce field. You can apply for the CDS exam. CDS depends on the combined defense service and the exam conducted by the UPSC twice in a year. Yo can apply for following fields. 1 Indian Army. 2 Indian Air Force. 3 Indian Navy. There are following procedure of CDS exam. Written exam Ssb interview Medical exam. And preparation of merit list. You need to qualify these above stages to become officer in defence. |

If your age is less than 19 years, then you can apply for NDA to join Indian Army as well as Indian Air Force. NDA Eligibility - You must have Indian Citizenship. - You should have passed (10+2) with any stream for Army wing & with science stream with PCM as a main subjects for Air Force wing. - Your age should be between 16.5 to 19 years of the examination year. - You must be physically and mentally fit. |

There is no chance for commerce stream candidates to join Indian Air Force through NDA exam or CDS exam. Commerce stream candidates can join Ground Duty Branch through Air Force Common Admission Test. The age limit for AFCAT for Ground Duty branch is 19-26 years. You can apply for Combined Defence Services for joining Indian Army. Here the age limit is 19-24 years for Military academy. AFCAT is conducted by Air Force and CDS by UPSC. |

You are eligible for India Army only. After bachelor's degree, you can apply for Combined Defence Services conducted by UPSC. CDS examination eligibility criteria: *Bachelor's degree from a recognized university. You can apply for CDS examination in final year of graduation. *Age limit for Indian Military academy: 19-24 years. *Both male and female candidates who are unmarried can apply for CDS examination. Written test is followed by Service Selection Board. |

Yes, after completion of bachelor degree you will be eligible to appear for AFCAT and CDS examination. But, you are not eligible for recruitment in Air Force after 12th without science stream. But, you can appear for NDA examination conducted by UPSC every year for recruitment in Army. Candidates can also appear for recruitment as Clerk and other posts through other entry conducted by Indian Army. The examination is conducted in various stages as written and SSB stands for final selection. |

Yes, you have chance to join Indian Army after completion of your 12th standard with Commerce stream and pursuing B.Com candidate. But, to be eligible to join Indian Air Force, you should have completed Graduation in any discipline and you should have passed Mathematics and Physics subjects in your 12th standard. You can join Indian Army on basis of 12th standard or Graduation through NDA or CDS examination by satisfying the eligibility criteria required. So, being a commerce student, you can't join Indian Air force. |

Being a Class 12th passed in Commerce stream you are not eligible for joining Indian Air force and Indian Navy as for the same you need to be a science stream student. But you have the opportunity in Indian Army. Also In the Indian Army you have the option of your recruitment as both as Commisssioned officer or JCOs ( Junior Commissioned Officer ). * For your recruitment as commissioned officer you will have to join NDA ( National Defense Academy ) by qualifying NDA entrance examination. For the same you need to be an unmarried Indian male candidate with your age lying within 16.5 years to 19.5 years apart from your educational qualification. * For your recruitment as JCO's you will have to compete their Rally and then clear their respective CEE ( Common Entrance Examination ). For the same you need to be an unmarried male candidate with your age lying within 17.5 years to 23 years. For recruitment in Air Force the candidates need to have Mathematics and Physics as main paper where as for Army candidates passed 12th with any stream are eligible to appear for examination. But, you can appear for examination AFCAT for recruitment in Air Force after bachelor degree and for CDS examination for recruitment in Indian Army. |

No, you can not join Indian Air Force after completion of 10+2 in commerce stream and pursuing Bachelor's degree in commerce. For Indian Air Force, Mathematics and Physics at 10+2 is necessary and in Bachelor's degree, science stream or engineering is required. You are eligible for Indian Army. >>If your age is less than 19.5 years then you can apply for NDA/NA examination and clear written test and Service Selection Board to join Army. >>However if you are above this age limit then in final year of bachelor's degree you can apply for Combined Defence Services exam for joining Indian Military Academy or Officer's Training academy.
