Jobs in banking sector are- >> Clerical jobs >> Bank P.O. >> Storekeeper >> Assistant Manager >> Bank Manager >> Cashier >> Security guard >> Asset management And jobs in Insurance are- >> Insurance advisor >> Policy Advisor >> Health insurance agent >> Life insurance and short term insurance agent( As insurance for 5 years) >> Vehicle insurance agent >> Industrial insurance agent These are the main jobs in these two sectors. |

Re: Career options in banking and insurance sector In today's world there is good career in bank.You an go with it.You can apply for Bank Clerk,Assistant Officer in Bank,Bank PO and for many other posts.If you want to go for Insurance sector then you can go for LIC,ICICI,Reliance,Oriental and many more but LIC is best for this. Eligibility Criteria:- 1.Candidate should be Indian. 2.Candidate have 60% marks in 10th,12th and in Graduation. 3.Age should be 18-30Years 4.There is relaxation for ST,SC and OBC Candidates in Age and in Percentage marks. Syllabus:-Mainly three subjects like Maths,English and Reasoning is asked in Banking and Insurance Sector.So prepare these three well.clear all doubts in these subjects and make strong command on these three subjects.there is negative marking in all banking Exams and also in Insurance sector Exams.So be careful while taking these Exams. |

Re: Career options in banking and insurance sector with regard to ur present qualification and academic performance, i'M afraid u cant apply for officer cadre in any govt related dept.. however, dont get disheartened,when god breaks the heart, it insures it too. for MBA the eligibility is 50% , so u can go for MBA in banking or insurance . otherwise u can do speciality courses from indian institute of bankers / insurance institute of india...... there is also a great demand for CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERS, the course is short and comparatively inexpensive and ensures good return. |

Re: Career options in banking and insurance sector guys, plz help me out... i joined allahabad bank po on july 2009 but recently i got final selection in new india assurance as administrative officer... right now i am facing the biggest dilemma of my life and this fact is distorting my mental serenity.........what should i do..... should i join administrative officer or not....i am also well not aware about perks or facilities of administrative officer in new india assurance......waiting 4 ur valuable response ASAP....... Re: Career options in banking and insurance sector you are now eligible for every bank post as your profile says you can now apply for bank PO and clerical jobs as well as be an executive in private banks whereas there is opportunity for you to join in the insurance sector and become a insurance exceutive or an agent. so you have multiple options nw and your eductional background wil also help you find a appropiate job . wish you good luck and sucessi n future byeee. |

Re: Career options in banking and insurance sector hi friend, if you have done your graduation and also having experience in banking sector then i will suggest you to write mba exams like: CAT XAT MAT FMS AND IIFT also if you want to do job then you can apply for bank po exams of various banks. |

Re: Career options in banking and insurance sector I you want to explore an excellent career oppurtunity in Insurance or Banking sector. Then keep my advice and go for MBA in finance for banking sector and MBA in sales or marketing for insurance sector. The career,oppurtunity you will get after persuing the above mentioned courses,is uncompareable,with the oppurtunities you will get from anyother courses. However,decission is your's Best of luck

Re: Career options in banking and insurance sector You can opt to go for bank probationary officer by writing bank po exam or can do higher studies like mba and then try for job and nowadays there are lots of jobs for students in banks as it is well paid, secure and high status career. |
