For Indian Army having age of 18 years the Height and weight criteria is as follows: Height Weight 152 cm 44 kg 155 cm 45 kg 157 cm 47 kg 160 cm 48 kg 162 cm 50 kg 165 cm 52 kg 167 cm 53 kg 170 cm 55 kg 172 cm 57 kg 175 cm 59 kg 178 cm 61 kg 180 cm 63 kg 180+ cm 65 kg The candidate must be physically fit and fine. I advice you to follow the under mentioned regimen daily in order to keep yourself in good physical condition:- (a) Running 2.4 Km in 15 minutes (b) 25 Sit ups (minimum) (c) 13 Push ups (minimum) (d) 6 Chin ups (minimum) |

Height need to be 166 cms from soldiers. Chest need to be 77 cms Weight need to be 48 kg. Medical standards >> A candidate should have robust physics and good mental health. >> Chest should be well developed having minimum 5cms expansion. >> Should have normal hearing in each year and good binocular version in both eyes. >> Should have natural number of healthy teeth and gums. >> Should not have diseases like deformity of bones, hydrocele and veriocele. |
