To pursue MBBS program in Tamil Nadu, candidate has to go through Tamil Nadu Professional Courses Entrance Examination[TNPCEE] which is conducted by Anna University for admission in Government, Government Aided and private medical colleges. Candidate must have passed the +2 level of exam from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, scoring a minimum of 60% marks in each of these subjects and 70% aggregate marks in the final term. The minimum age to apply for the exam is 17 years. Relaxation of qualifying marks is there for Sc/St/BC candidates.Christian medical College, Vellore, Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute, Chennai have framed separate entrance test and admission rules which may be referred at appropriate place. |
