Re: Joining merchant navy with computers background? hey friend sorry to say but there is no separate department where they need some computer work........so if you are interested in some thing else which is there in it then go for it otherwise go for some jobs in IT industry........there you will love to work........ choose the best for you all the best |

I dont think that there will be any postion to work in backend but you can try for ITBP.Every years vacancies comes out in it and there will be a better scope for you as you are computer graduate. sometimes they need computer engineers. So better to regular see emplyment newspaper. |

Hi, joining merchant navy is very easy but as your aim is to work only on computers then getting such an job becomes very tough, you have to regularly checking out employment news and other opportunities column of other papers for add of such an job Thanks |

Re: Joining merchant navy with computers background? sorry yogesh there is no such section in which you have to work on computers..........if you are interested in marine engineering then you can go for it........... for joining this you have to do a 6 months sea course and then you can join the merchant navy directly without giving any entrance exam............... |
