Those candidates who have completed 12th standard from any stream with above 50% marks from a recognized board are eligible LLB course but you should qualify in CLAT exam. Final year student are eligible for CLAT exam. There are no age criteria. |

Re: Can I appear in CLAT 2017 if 12th result will be announced later after exam? CLAT refers to Common Law Admission Test and same is a national level entrance examination held for offering admission in LLB course of five years in National Law Universities ( NLUs ) of India. --> The minimum qualification required for appearing in CLAT 2017 are as below :- * You must have the nationality of India with your age not exceeding 20 years ( 22 years in case of SC/ST or PH category candidates ) by the 1st July 2017. * You must have either completed your Class 12th or any equivalent degree or must be in the final year of same degree course with at least 45% marks ( 40% marks in SC/ST and PH category candidates ) from a recognized institute. So being a final year student of Class 12th you are eligible for CLAT 2017 on the basis of educational requirement for the same and hence you can apply for the same now as the registration for the same is still going on. For more details about CLAT you can refer to the link www.clat.ac.in. |

Re: Can I appear in CLAT 2017 if 12th result will be announced later after exam? CLAT stands for Common Law Admission Test. For Common Law Admission Test candidate must have passed 12th class from a recognized board. As per my knowledge, candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination in March/April 2017 are also eligible for appearing in Common Law Admission Test. The age of candidate should not be greater than 20 years. Age relaxation is given to reserved category candidate i.e 22 years in case of SC/ST/OBC/SAP candidate. EXAMINATION PATTERN => Negative Marking = 1/4 => Total Marks = 200 => Number of Questions = 200 => Duration of Examination = 2 hours |
