The eligibility criteria for Food Inspector examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission:

*Bachelor's degree in science or bachelor's degree in dairy technology, food technology or any discipline with chemistry as compulsory subject.

*Age limit for Food Inspector exam is 21-30 years.

Diploma candidates are not eligible for Food inspector examination.

The eligibility criteria for Food Inspector examination are:

1. Those who have done bachelor's degree in agriculture, dairy technology, food technology etc are eligible or those who have done bachelor's degree in any discipline of science stream can apply for Food Inspector exam.

2. Age limit for Food inspector exam is 21-30 years.

Diploma in dairy technology are not eligible for Food Inspector examination. You can apply after bachelor's degree.

Eligibility to become Food Inspector:

Diploma students are not eligible to appear in this entrance exam to become Food Inspector because as per the eligibility criteria graduation in Engineering or related field is necessary and minimum qualification required to appear in this entrance exam. You have to complete your graduation in the field related to your interest and then only you will appear in entrance exam.

Minimum age should not less than 21 years and maximum should not exceed 30 years we're as relaxation is given to SC and ST students.

Following is the eligibility criteria to become a food inspector:

Candidate must have done bachelor's degree in food safety or related fields from a recognised University.

Other qualified specialisations are like chemistry, agriculture and Biology are also eligible.

Age should be in between 18 to 30 years.

The exam of Food Inspector is conducted by UPSC for further details you can visit UPSC website i.e. Www.upsc.gov.in
