Eligibility criteria to become a Neurologist: Neurology is a specialized degree so you have to firstly study MBBS after passing your 12th standard and you can join MBBS only if you have studied medical stream in your 12th standard once you complete your MBBS you will be eligible to pursue PG degree in your interested subject and after that you can go for neurology and you can become Neurologist. The duration to become Neurologist is about 8 to 9 years. |

Re: How to study Neurosurgery course after 12th with Science? Will I have to qualify NEET exam? Neurosurgery or neurology is the branch of medicine. To study neurology or to become Neurologist you must first become a medical doctor. After completing your 12th standard with medical stream you have to qualify the medical entrance exam to pursue Bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery that is 5 and half years course. Then go for MD or Ms or DNB in general medicine and after that go for specialisation in this field that is neurology. So you can make out that it is a very long process so you have to appear in the entrance exam and if by chance you are not able to qualify the entrance exam then you have to take admission in management quota seat to complete your MBBS degree. |
