For both Men/Women - 20 years to 28 Yrs. * For SC/ST - 33 years (maximum age limit) * For Ex-Servicemen : 45 years (maximum age limit) * For Destitute Widow : 35 years (maximum age limit) * For candidate of Department : 45 years (maximum age limit) Physical Ability Height * For Men (General) - 170 cm (minimum) * For Men (SC/ST) - 167 cm (minimum) * For Women (General) - 159 cm (minimum) * For Women (SC/ST) - 157 cm (minimum) Chest * For Men - 81-86 cms. * For Women - Not applicable. Physical Endurance Test * For men - in 7 minutes 1500 meters race. * For women - in 2 minutes 30 seconds 400 meters race. * For ex-Service men - in 8 minutes 1500 meters race. Other test also which includes long jump, high jump, shot put, running and rope climbing. The rope climbing event is only for men not women. Education Qualification The job aspirants must be graduate from recognized board / university or institution And should have studied as a subject either in 10th Class or 12th Class. |

HI FRIEND ## The minimum educational qualification required to apply for SI POST is graduation in any discipline from recognised institution/university ## Age limit to apply for Sub Inspector post is ~>21-25 years for GENERAL category candidates ~>21-28 years for OBC candidates ~>21-30 years for EX-SERVICEMEN and SC/ST candidates ## The physical standards required to apply for SI POST are ~>165 cm height for men and 150 cm height for women & 5 cm height relaxation for SC/ST candidates ~>85 cm chest on expansion for men & there is no such requirement for women ~>Eyesight should be 6/6 or 6/9 in good eye, 6/9 or 6/12 in worst eye for distant vision & 0.6 in good eye, 0.8 in worst eye for near vision ## The selection process of SI POST is ~>Written test ~>Physical efficiency test ~>Personal interview ** ALL THE BEST ** |
