Re: Details about sports quota in IIT colleges? Sports Quota: In all IIT Colleges, i will tell you that there is no Sports Quota for admission, Because the Entrance Exam Truly base on the Merit wise. If you want to get admission into the IIT College, then you have to clear the Entrance Test and also get good rank in the Entrance Exam, after that you are able to choose the college according to your rank. |

But some cast reservations are available in IIT colleges... SC-ST 15-7.5% OBC 4%......... But you have to concentrate on Entrance exam............. All the best.........- |

Re: Details about sports quota in IIT colleges? Hi dear..  I am sorry to say, but there is no Sports Quota for IITs. You have to crack IIT JEE, to get into any of the IITs . From 2013 , there will be one common Entrance for Engineering and only the top rankers would be eligible for JEE Mains exam. So, you have to work hard in your +2 as well as CET (Common Entrance Test) , if you need to secure a seat in any of the IITs . All the best..! Regards Sammy |
