Re: How can I study CA after completing BSc Maths? I'm a graduate of bsc maths with 66%. Someone already mentioned if degree percentage above 60% means no need to do CPT. Right. Can i directly attend ipcc exam ? if i pass in that exam, then attend 3 yrs training. Right. That is the problem for me. im working in IT field. I can't leave my job, because of family situation. Can u give any suggestion for me. |

Re: How can I study CA after completing BSc Maths? You are eligible to apply CA Course after completing your B.Sc course. Infact you can take advantage of your B.Sc (Maths) for directly perusing second stage and omitting first stage. CA course is divided into three levels ,that are as follow : >Foundation examination >Intermediate examination >Final examination You are eligible to apply directly to Intermediate Examination. You are not required to attempt Foundation examination. But to take this benefit you must have to follow following eligibility. Eligibility Criteria : >> You are from non-commerce stream and with Mathematics subjects. So you should have score minimum 55% in your B.Sc(Math). >> There is not any age limit. |

Re: How can I study CA after completing BSc Maths? •> It is certainly possible to pick Chartered Accountancy after completing the graduation course. The graduation course could also be Bachelor of Science or even Bachelor of Technology. •> Therefore you are eligible to apply for the Chartered Accountancy course. The first step would be to see whether it is mandatory for you to appear for Common Proficiency Test or you can directly apply for the IPCC. •> Common Proficiency Test is the first step for the CA course. While for candidates who have completed 12th it is necessary to appear for Common Proficiency Test, there is provision to get exemption for the graduates. >> It is not required to appear for Common Proficiency Test if:- 1. You have completed commerce graduation with 55 percent marks or 2. You are non commerce graduate with 60 percent marks. >> Which means that if you have secured 60 percent in Bachelor of Science course then there is no need to apply for Common Proficiency Test instead you should apply for the IPCC course. •> But if you don't meet the minimum percentage required for exemption then you must appear for the Common Proficiency Test and clear it. This test is conducted two times in a year. >> There are two groups of 2 subjects each in CPT exam. All you need is 30 percent marks in each group to clear the Common Proficiency Test. The two groups are: Group 1 Fundamentals of Accounting (60 marks) Mercantile Laws (40 marks) Group 2 Economics (50 marks) Quantitative Aptitude (50 marks) •> After clearing the Common Proficiency Test you can take admission for the Intermediate Professional Course. The first group of IPCC has 4 subjects and you need to score 40 percent marks to clear it. •> After clearing the first group of IPCC you will have to start the Articled and industrial training of 3 years. Along with the training you will have to clear the second group of IPCC with 3 subjects. Again you will have to score 40 percent marks to clear it. •> The last stage is CA Final Examination. If you have cleared the both groups of IPCC and only 6 months of articleship is left to complete, only then you are eligible to appear for the CA Final Examination. >> All the Best ! |

[SIZE=4][/SIZE][SIZE=3]CA [/SIZE][SIZE=5]course [/SIZE][SIZE=3].ELIGIBILITY[/SIZE] [SIZE=3][/SIZE] *There are no restrictions with regard to the age of the candidate or marks secured in Senior Secondary Examination. *Commerce graduates with 50% marks, non-commerce graduates with subjects other than Mathematics with an aggregate of 55% marks and non-commerce graduates with Maths with an aggregate of 60% marks are exempted from the Common Proficiency Test (CPT) and are permitted to register for Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC). *Candidates who have passed the Final Examination conducted by the Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India (ICWAI) or the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) can register for Professional Competency Course. the CA course which is recognised to be one of the toughest courses in india, is best passed with guidance and effort. The best option is to join the INSTITUTE OF CHARTED ACCOUNTANTS OF INDIA as they hav the best faculty and the best record,. they charge minimum and offer best coaching too..... regards |
