If you are pursuing 12th ( inter ) with science stream ( PCM ) or Biology stream ( PCB ) you are eligible to appear for entrance examination conducted by government and private institutions. The duration of bachelor in agriculture course is four year after 12th. For admission in central government agriculture university candidates have to appear and qualify in ICAR examination. |

Requirements for B.Sc in Agriculture is: Academic qualification: Aspirants subjects combination should be either PCB or PCM. Percentage of marks required to apply for B.Sc in agriculture is 45%. Age: Minimum age is 17 years. Entrance exam is conducted by Indian Council of Agriculture Research and is called ICAR AIEEA. There is very demand of candidates with agriculture degree in private as well as public sector. You will have plenty of job opportunities after degree in ICAR, State government departments etc. |

If you want to join B.Sc Agriculture then to get admission in course in a reputed government or private college you have to appear and qualify in examination. The eligibility to appear for examination is that candidate must have passed or appearing for 12th board examination with PCB/PCM as main paper. The minimum age limit is 17 years and minimum required aggregate in PCB/PCM is 50%. So, if you are pursuing your inter ( 10+2 ) with science or biology stream you are eligible to appear for examination to get admission. |
