The duration of this course is four years. For this course candidate must have passed 12th class with PCB from a recognized board. You are eligible to choose agriculture after completion of inter 2nd year with Biology other wise not. After completion of this course you can apply for following jobs are given below. => Agriculture Portfolio Manager => Program Manager => Agriculture Officer => Primary Production Manager => Farming Consultant/Agronomist => Associate Manager => Agricultural Lecturer => Subject Matter Specialist => Management Executive |

Re: Can I choose agriculture after completion of inter 2nd year? Yes, you are eligible to choose Agriculture course for pursuing your higher studies after completion of your intermediate second year. Candidates who have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination in any discipline from a recognized university are eligible to pursue Agriculture course. Admissions in Agriculture course are done through state level entrance examination or through admission test conducted by the respective university. After completion of your your Agriculture course, you can find best job opportunities in both public and private sector companies. |

If you are pursuing 12th ( inter ) with science stream ( PCM ) or Biology stream ( PCB ) you are eligible to appear for entrance examination conducted by government and private institutions. The duration of bachelor in agriculture course is four year after 12th. For admission in central government agriculture university candidates have to appear and qualify in ICAR examination. |

Re: Can I choose agriculture after completion of inter 2nd year? Lots of candidates choose Bachelor of Science in Agriculture after higher secondary course. Requirements for B.Sc in Agriculture is: Academic qualification: Aspirants subjects combination should be either PCB or PCM. Percentage of marks required to apply for B.Sc in agriculture is 45%. Age: Minimum age is 17 years. Entrance exam is conducted by Indian Council of Agriculture Research and is called ICAR AIEEA. There is very demand of candidates with agriculture degree in private as well as public sector. You will have plenty of job opportunities after degree in ICAR, State government departments etc. |

If you want to join B.Sc Agriculture then to get admission in course in a reputed government or private college you have to appear and qualify in examination. The eligibility to appear for examination is that candidate must have passed or appearing for 12th board examination with PCB/PCM as main paper. The minimum age limit is 17 years and minimum required aggregate in PCB/PCM is 50%. So, if you are pursuing your inter ( 10+2 ) with science or biology stream you are eligible to appear for examination to get admission. |
