Re: Terms and conditions to join Air Force through NDA? How to prepare for NDA exam for Air Force wings? NDA examination is conducted twice every year by UPSC. It provides a better opportunity to candidates for joining defence service ( Army, Navy, Air Force ). The eligibility to appear for examination is :- Candidate must have passed or even pursuing 12th from a recognised board. Candidates age must be between 16.5-19.5 years. Only male candidates are eligible to appear for examination. Candidates must have passed 12th with PCM as main paper. So, if you have above qualification you will be eligible to appear for NDA examination but have to qualify in written to move to SSB and in SSB before final selection in service. Re: Terms and conditions to join Air Force through NDA? How to prepare for NDA exam for Air Force wings? To join Air Force you have to qualify in written and SSB stage of NDA examination. The examination is conducted twice every year. The written paper contains questions of Mathematics of std 9th to std 12th level while another paper contains question of General Studies, English, Current Affairs etc. So, you need to prepare very well for qualifying in examination after that you will be called for SSB where you have to go through various test procedure. NDA stands for National Defence Academy and examination is conducted by UPSC for recruitment in defence services. For Air Force it is necessary that candidate must have passed or pursuing in 12th with PCM as main paper. The age limit is between 16.5-19.5 years and only male candidate are eligible. As, examination is conducted in two stages written and SSB candidates have to qualify in both stages for final selection. Written examination has two papers Mathematics and General Ability.
