Sir I'm studying B.Sc(Agri) 3rd year. Whether it is better to do PG after my UG studies or to go coaching center. But my problem is that there will be more expense to go for recognized coaching center. Please tell me how to prepare myself from now sir. My mail ID is [email protected] you sir

Sir i was science student when i passed 12th clsss , which i have passed recently but i am not so good in science but i am very good at political science and geography and i want to become an ias officer so can you please suggest me that whether i should do graduation from technical subject or from arts side please mail me at [email protected]

To become an IAS officer, you have to appear in the UPSC Civil services exams.

Minimum eligibilty to apply for the UPSC Civil Services exams is:

Education: Graduation pass in any stream from a recognized university
No minimum percentage of marks is required in Graduation

Age- Minimum 21 years
Maximum 30 years
OBC can apply till 33 years
SC/ST can apply till 35 years

UPSC Civil Services Exams are held in three stages:
Prelims/CSAT
Mains
Interview


For preparations you shoulod start when you are in the last year of your Graduation.

You should join some good IAS coaching for Preparations

This examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC).

It consists of three stages:

1 Preliminary

2 Mains

3 Interview

This exam is extremely challenging.

Repeat of attempts :

Four times for General candidates,

Seven times for OBC candidates.

Can apply as many times for SC/ST candidates.

Age:

Minimum 21 years.

The upper age limit to attempt the examination is 35 for SC/ST and 30 years for the

General .

Preparation:

You must join a coaching institute for proper guidance and material for this exam

as it is highly competitive.
