No its not necessary to do bcom for CA course. Its always better to do CPT whether science or commerce student. After 12th register for CPT write the exam the exam is in june and the results are declared on july. Thereafter if not satisfied go for bcom. Then do IPCC and do CA.

hello friends .....................

CA is a professional course this course is offered by ICAI.

For entering in to this course you must have at least 12th qualification.

For this course NO AGE,PERCENTAGE LIMIT.

And this course contain three levels ;

CPT
IPCC
Final

For this course you can join through the 12th only, After the complition of 12th with any group you can join in CPT course.

After the complition of CPT you can join in IPCC course

(or)

After the complition of degree 55% in case of commers degree and 60% in case of other degree you can eligible for IPCC directly with the skip of CPT.

So,if you have above percentage then you can join in IPCC directly.

In IPCC course contain 7 subjects with 2 groups And ITT,ORIENTATION programes also apart of this course.After the complition of this programmes only you can eligible for IPCC exams.

And after the complition of IPCC you can eligible for final course.

FOR THIS COURSE ;;;

First you can choose good institute for coaching.

And You must work hard, And prepair well for exams.

After passiing class 12 what are the nessesarry courses to be done to become a charteered a accountant to do before cpt and other exams. we can't do this courses directly class 12 complete procedure is required , as you all have given the procedure above i am not clear at all. so this my reqest to give my answer properly.

If you want to become CA after 12th then you have to first apply for CPT(Common Proficiency Test) and qualify it.

To pass CPT you have to appear in following stages of CPT:

Stage II
Section A: Fundamentals of accounting
Section B: Mercantile Law

Stage II
Section C: General Economics
Section D: Quantitative Aptitude

For qualifying CPT you must score minimum 50% marks in it.

After passing CPT you can register for IPCC. Examination for IPCC are organised in the month of May and November.

IPCC will have following Papers:

Group I:
Paper1:Financial Reporting
Paper2:Strategic Financial Management
Paper3:Advanced Auditing and Professional Ethics
Paper4:Corporate and Allied Law

Group II:
Paper5:Advanced Management Accounting
Paper6:Information System control and Audit
Paper7irect Tax Laws
Paper8:Indirect Tax Laws

For passing IPCC you must score 50% and above in aggregate and in each subject you must have atleast 40% marks.

After passing IPCC you can register yourself as a Chartered Accountant.

or in brief you can take this as:
1. Pass the CPT entrance exam!
2. Start preparing for IPCC (exactly 9 months after CPT will be your IPCC exam)
3. Give IPCC and clear it.
4. Once you are cleared with IPCC then you start your 3 and 1/2 years articleship.
5. and you can give CA finals any time during or after the last 6 months of your articleship.

Dear,
To become a Charted accountant in India ,you will have to go through the following steps:

-->>After qualifying the 12th examination ,you will have to write CPT conducted by ICAI.

-->>The CPT is followed by professional competency course and final course.

-->>Apart from this two programs after CPT,you will also need to go through the following practical training.

100 hours of information technology training.

3.5 years of articled training.

General management and communication skills course.

After completion of all these course programs and practical training,you will be eligible to become one of the member of ICAI and an charted accountant.

Hi Friend,

CPT(Competency Professional Test) is necessary for becoming CA.It is an enty level test for CA. After 12th exam you have to register for CPT.

10+2 students without math are eligible to enter the test.
There is no stipulation of minimum percentage of marks in 10+2 level.
