IBPS refers to Institute of Banking Personnel Selection and it conducts different bank examinations for recruitment of applicants at various posts like bank clerk, bank probationary officer, bank specialist officer, etc. across 20 nationalized banks of India. As far as you are concerned about the need of computer knowledge for appearing in IBPS bank examination then it is certainly required as the bankings works are more computer based in these digital emerging world. As per the notification of IBPS the computer literacy required for appearing in IBPS bank examinations is a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language/ should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute. Eligibility criteria are as under:- Candidate must be a holder of graduation degree from a recognized university. Candidate must have scored 45% aggregate minimum in graduation. Candidate age should not less than 21 years and should not exceed 30 years. |

Eligibility criteria are as under:- Candidate must have passed their graduation. Candidate must have scored at least 45% marks. Candidate age limit should be 21-30 years. |

Re: What is the computer qualification required to apply for IBPS exam? For recruitment as Clerk or PO entrance examination there is no extra qualification required. Candidates passed bachelor degree in any discipline are eligible to appear for examination. The age limit to appear for examination varies with examination ( Clerk/ PO ). The required qualification for IBPS examination are given below. => Candidate must have passed Bachelor degree from a wel recognized university. => The age of candidate must be in between 20 to 28 years. => Age relaxation is given to reserved category candidate. => Candidate must have to studied computer subjects in your board level or degree level. => Computer Literacy => Also candidate should be read, speak and write the local language of the state from which they are apply for IBPS examination. |

IBPS conducts common written examination for post of clerk and Probationary officer in banks. The minimum academic qualification for IBPS CWE is bachelor's degree from a recognized university. Final year graduation candidates are also eligible for examination. The age limit for post of Clerk is 20-28 years and that for Probationary officer is 20-30 years. OBC candidates can get upper age relaxation of three years and that for SC/ST candidates is 5 years. You should have certificate, diploma, degree in computer application or you should have studied computer in school or college or in bachelor's degree for IBPS examination. |

In Computer Knowledge subjects, normally questions will be asked on below topics Computer hardware parts and controls Basic computer terminology Basic internet knowledge and protocols Database Management System Number System Operating System History of Computer Network basics (LAN & WAN) Computer abbreviation, Security Tools Virus, Hacking, Software names and usages (Microsoft Office) Computer Shortcuts. A candidate can easily gain knowledge on above topics by going through the regular books available in the market. If we have course completion certificates it will be added advantage in interview. DCA or PGDCA courses will be helpful in getting the basic knowledge on the above topics. |
