To be eligible to pursue B.Sc Agriculture, candidate needs to secure 50% marks in 12th Standard with subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics or Intermediate in Agriculture stream.

Few of the colleges were offering this course directly without any entrance test purely on merit basis. To pursue B.Sc agriculture, Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) will conduct an entrance exam. Based on rank obtained in entrance exam will get the seat in respective College

Re: How much should I score in class 12th to pursue B.Sc Agriculture course?

For pursuing bachelor degree in agriculture course candidates have to appear and qualify in entrance examination conducted by various institutes.

The duration of course is 4 year. The required eligibility to appear for entrance examination is that candidate must have passed 12th from a recognised board with PCB/PCM as main paper.

The age limit and minimum required aggregate to appear for entrance examination varies with entrance examination conducted by various institutes and by ICAR ( AIEEA).

Re: How much should I score in class 12th to pursue B.Sc Agriculture course?

B.Sc Agriculture refers to Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and as the name suggests it is a bachelor degree course of three years with good scope in country like India which is agro based.

The minimum educational qualification required for pursuing the same course is a higher secondary school degree with Physics, Chemistry and Agriculture or Mathematics or Biology as main subjects with at least 50% aggregate from a recognized board.

Further for pursuing the same course from a ICAR recognized government agriculture colleges you need to qualify entrance examinations like AIEEA UG held by ICAR and State CETs like BCECE, EAMCET etc. held by concerned state board of education.
