First & Foremost, there are no subjective question.
From 2009 onwards, some question have been included , whose answers have to calculate and to be filled on OMR.
And if you want to score good, then definitely you have to solve them, although question are not very lengthy , just tricky.

I Dnt agree wid u aditya ..
we still have subjective questions .. but the style has changed .. its now adyaz clled integer type..
dey are long questons and harder .. and totally diff from objective ones..!!
and yah dey have to be solved as dey consist of big marks !!
dere may cum two types of subjective question -
1> single integer
2>decimal integer
you dnt have to write the whole solution but widout complete solving roughly u cant answer dem..
nowadyaz iit exams are using OMR sheets ..
so dere arises no question of writing the whole solution
u juzz have to solve the question completely
and den darken the appropriate answer in OMR.
IF U WANT ANY FURTHUR INFO ABT IIT contact me !!
BEST OF LUCK !!

Yes of course we are here to share the knowledge what we have ..

No there are no subjective questions in IIT JEE

All the questions are of objective type, previously we used to have subjective questions as this taking more time

and time for testing a candidate is also not sufficient for this reason only they have removed the subjective type questions and selected the multiple pattern

So you have to solve the paper purely in objective format only

so don't need worry about subjective question.

Concentrate more on your preparation.

I will state some preparation tips which may help you..

you should plan accordingly to your interest and grasping power

The rank will be not depend upon How many hours you spent in preparation

It depends on how many hours you perfectly utilized

Before 4 months of the exam

preparing for JEE for 5 hours with full of concentration brings a very good rank

some of the points you must remember while preparing for the exam are

you must be highly concentrated towards your goal

you should know all the patter and examination procedure of the exam

Make smart plans and follow accordingly

You must be hardworker for the whole six months

keep all attractions away from you

stick to your preparation

Make the best time in your preparation for your recreation and relaxation ..

practice with some of the mock test to know the competition of the exam

this is all about the exam preparation attitude a candidate must have
