Re: Age criteria for getting admission under CBSE in third standard According to the guidelines of Kendriya Vidyalaya ( which is come under CBSE board) the minimum age for admission in third standard is 7 years on 31st march 20×× and the maximum age is 9 years. So, your ward is eligible for the admission in third standard in the academic year 2017-2018. |

Re: Age criteria for getting admission under CBSE in third standard The age criteria for getting admission under CBSE in third standard are given below. => First Class = 5 to 7 years => Second Class = 6 to 8 years => Third Class = 7 to 9 years => Fourth Class = 8 to 10 years => Fifth Class = 9 to 11 years. As per my knowledge, yes he is eligible to get admission in third standard. |

Re: Age criteria for getting admission under CBSE in third standard This is the given below eligibility criteria to take admission in 3rd standard: As per the rules and regulation a candidate must have attained the age of 3 years and maximum should not exceed 7 years while taking admission in 3rd standard. |

Re: Age criteria for getting admission under CBSE in third standard At the time of admission in third standard under CBSE minimum age of the child should be 5 years. As per your child's date of birth he would be 7 years old. So he is eligible for admission in third standard under CBSE school. Thanks |

That minimum and maximum age limit are considered as on 31st March of the year in which your child's admission sought. For 2nd class Minimum Age - 6 years Maximum Age - 8 years For 3rd class Minimum Age - 7 years Maximum Age - 9 years For 4th class Minimum Age - 8 years Maximum Age - 10 years. |
