Re: How can I become a CID officer after completing class 12th? There are different Ranks in Criminal Investigation Department. Qualification depends on your choice of rank, If you are 12th pass with arts or science you can do a course in criminology which is an added advantage.This Qualification is for an assistant officer, but for officer level rank you need a graduation degree. There are many universities in India that offer courses in criminology. All The Best! thank you |

There are different ranks in CID, 12th pass with arts or science is a basic qualification to become assistant sub inspector and course in criminology is an added advantage, but for higher post (officer level), u need a graduation degree.
