If you want to take admission in LLB course then you have to give Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). Candidates who have completed their graduation from a recognized university with 50% or above marks are eligible for this exam. There is no age criteria specified by the Bar Council of India for this exam. Thanks

No, you are eligible for the LLB admission because the age limit is 45 years for 3 years course and 25 years for 5 years course. The eligibility of LLB admission are mentioned below.

LLB (Bachelor of Legislative Law) has two type of courses, 3 years and 5 years.
In 5 years there will be combination courses like B.A LLB, B.sc LLB, B.B.A LLB but there are no combination courses in 3 years.

Eligibility criteria:
3 years course:
- They should have degree with min 40%.
5 years course:
- They should complete 10+2.

Age limit:
For 3 years course: Recently they have increased the age limit from 30-45, so the age limit for this course is 45.
For 5 years course: They have increased it from 20-22, so the age limit for this course is 22.
There are few entrance exams, in some places they conduct exam which is in written format and in some places they conduct exam all over India. you need to attend them.
Some of the entrance exams are:
CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) is conducted by National Law Universities for admission of under graduate and post graduate degrees.
LAWCET (LAW Common Entrance Test) is conducted by Andhra pradesh for admissions into 3 year and 5 year degrees.

Re: Admission in LLB at the age of 57 years

By removing restrictions from Bar Council of India increased age limit by 2 years and 15 years for 3 years graduation and 5 years law course respectively. As per meeting held at Kolkata reconsidered the age limit criteria set earlier for course

Sorry, but as in your case you don't fit into age criteria set for the three years and five years courses.
