Definitely you can go through the CSAT Examination conducted by the UPSC Board.Since your a graduate you can definitely go through the examination.CSAT examination doesn't consider aggregate's or percentages but you just have to be a graduate from a recognized University. Here am attaching you the notification details of the CSAT Examination which is going to be held on 12th June,2011 so that you get a clear idea about the eligibility,Syllabus,Number of Stages,how to fill in the application..etc |

No matter which stream you belong to and how much marks you have obtained, if you hold a bachelors degree of recognized university, you are eligible for the civil service exam. The minimum eligible age to appear for the exam is 21 years. The maximum age limit is 30 years with relaxation of 3 OBC's and 5 years for SC/ST. The eligibility criteria to appear for civil services exam is as follows -Candidates should have a bachelors degree with any of the discipline from a recognized institute. -One should be in the age group of 21-30 years to be eligible for the exam. Eligibility Criteria for Civil Services Examination : Educational Qualification :- The minimum educational qualification for the Civil services examination is the graduation from any recognize University. There are no limit of of marks in graduation for the appear in civil services exam a only graduation pass student can appear in the Civil services examination. IAS is an central service and also deeply regarded as the most prestigious job.. Like this service there are other 24 services for which a common entrance test is conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) The main basic eligibility criteria for Civils Service Examination ->Candidate must have 21 years of age ->Candidate must complete at least degree from a recognized Indian University this is all about the basic eligibility criteria of CSE As per your qualification if you have completed Degree then definitely you are eligible for the exam.. Re: Am I eligible for Civil Competitive Exam after scoring 57% in 12th? Hello friend, Yes, surely you are eligible to write civil service exams conducted by the UPSC or SSC. Civil service exams like IAS, IES, IFS etc. are conducted for the recruitment of graduate candidates in several civil services under the central Govt. in different sections like administrative,engineering etc.. The eligibility criteria to apply for these exams is to have a graduation degree in any stream from a recognized university. As you have scored 64% in B.Tech graduation, you are eligible to appear at these exams. So go for it. All the best! |

Am I eligible for Civil Competitive Exam after scoring 57% in 12th? im a graduate i have secured 64% in b.tech but,i have secured 57% in intermediate is im eligible to write civils compitative exam? |
