Re: Can I do LLB from any correspondence or open university while working in government sector? If u want to become an Advocate or lawyer, LL.B. (3 years) or B.A.,LL,B, (5 years) can't be done by distance education, it has to be a regular course. Universities offering distance education for LL.B. are General LL.B. course and students passing these courses can't register themselves with any Bar Council which is a regulatory body which manages professional membership and other issues for Lawyers. LL.B. distance is just for knowledge and putting a degree in front of your name but the title and practicing lawyer privilege is not applicable with it. |

I AM B.COM GRADUATE. I WANT HAVE THE LLB COURSE SO THAT I CAN PRACTICE IN MY RETIRED LIFE. PLEASE SUGGEST ME THE CORRECT ROUTE. |

The list of some best open university offer LLB course through correspondence or Distance Education mode in India:- - Indira Gandhi National Open University (Delih), - Annamalai University (Tamil Nadu), - National Law School of India University (Bangalore), - The Dr. Ambedkar Law University (TN), - Kakatiya University (Warangal), - Kurukshetra University (Haryana), - Madurai Kamraj University (Madurai), - Mahatma Gandhi University (Kottayam), - SNDT Women's University (Mumbai) etc.. |
