Normally universities demand eligibility criteria between 45 to 50% and few exceptions demanding 60% as eligibility criteria like in Amrita University. Below I'm going to mention certain universities normally ask for 50% to appear in their respective entrance exam to take admission in BAMS: The best institutes around India providing BAMS course: Institute of Medical Sciences - [IMS], Varanasi Baba Farid University of Health Sciences - [BFUHS], Faridkot Maharashtra University of Health Sciences - [MUHS], Nashik Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences - [DMIMS], Nagpur Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences - [RGUHS], Bangalore Jupiter Ayurved Medical College, Nagpur KLE University, Belgaum Bharati Vidyapeeth University - [BVU], Pune University of Calicut, Calicut Ayush and Health Science University - [AHSU], Raipur Its better to start applying for the above university at the earliest, because in most the universities the admission process is about to start or already started. |

BAMS stands for Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery and candidates have to appear and qualify in entrance examination conducted for various universities for admission in course. The basic eligibility to get admission in course is that candidate must have passed 12th with PCB as main paper and have scored minimum 50% ( varies with universities and colleges). The minimum age limit to get admission in 17 years. So, you are eligible to appear for entrance examination for admission in course. Some of the universities which conducts entrance examination for admission is :- University of Delhi. Patna University. Lucknow university. |
