Yes, you can get admission through CET (Common Entrance Test) but that depends on the state, course and stream because depending on the state the reservation of seats varies. CET is an entrance test conducted all over the country for the students who wanted to get admission in Medicine, engineering, architecture, dental etc in different states. The eligibility required for getting admission through reservation quota from category 1 is you need to have a caste certificate/ caste income certificate which will be given on the basis of income by jurisdictional tahasildar of government. Since you are from category 1 you need have Form 'E' for getting admission. |

Recently, Karnataka government has increased the income limit to 6 lakh PA. You are eligible to take seat under reserved seats, only if you are having a caste certificate. Good Luck. |

There is special criteria set by the government for reservation quota candidates. So no need to worry. You also have age relaxation as well as relaxation in marks. Some of the seats are reserved for reservation quota candidates. |
