Is it so that outsiders are not eligible in Rajasthan govt exam, pls suggest? What are the latest norms in this regard? |

Re: Can other state students apply for RAS exam? students outside of Rajasthan dear friend, yes, you can apply for RAS exam.but you won't get any advantage of reservation.means if you are a sc candidates of other state then you won't be considered as sc candidates for this exam.you will be under general category. only candidates of rajsthan will be eligible for reservation.all candidates except will be treated as general candidates.all outsider candidates will be treated as general candidates. all the best. |

Re: Can other state students apply for RAS exam? students outside of Rajasthan Hi ear, RAS examination is conducted by UPSC for Rajasthan students and students live outside .Its not necessary that to take the exam you should have domicile of the Rajasthan.You can take exam but you will have to take it under general category . Eligibilty criteria- You must be graduate from recognised Universities. Your age should be between 21 to 30 years. Attempts Limit:: 4 for general candidates . 7 for reserved caste students . Examination is Done in three phase. Preliminary Examination. Main Examination. Interview. thanks |

Re: Can other state students apply for RAS exam? students outside of Rajasthan Students who are not domicle of rajasthan can also write for ras examination. They can only apply for general seats. They will not given the benefit of reservation in any stage of examinations. |

The notification says that every indian citizen of 21-30 years having a graduation degree are eligible for writing the exam. |

The candidate should be minimum 21 years of age. He/she should be a graduate from a recognized University. For more details you can log on to www.rpsc.gov.in |
