Re: NIOS Acceptance in Foreign Universities Yes, NIOS board is as valid as other boards of India. But some universities may not accept this board's certificates. So you have to check before admission. Thanks |

Re: NIOS Acceptance in Foreign Universities Yes most of the universities in Abroad accept NIOS certificate but top few universities will not accept it. Most of the universities in Canada recognise this certificate hence you can apply in Canada universities. You have to appear in GRE and TOEFL exam in order to have fees relaxation. You can apply in private universities which do not have such rules and they won't have any issue in giving admission to open school students. |

Re: NIOS Acceptance in Foreign Universities Most of the reputed universities do not accept open school candidates for college admission. It will difficult, if you are looking for admission in country like US and UK, as they prefer regular students. There are some private universities in every country, which do not have such rules and they won't have any issues in giving admission to open school students. Moreover you have to qualify the GRE and TOEFL exam. After qualifying these two exams you will have to send the score to the universities where you want to apply along with your certificate. On the basis of your qualification and Merit list University will send you the admission form. Hence you can take admission in Canada University. |

NIOS Acceptance in Foreign Universities I have pursued 12th From CBSE board without maths in 2013. I am now preparing for the maths examination through NIOS for getting eligible in the courses of Canada. Would NIOS be accepted In Canada? |
