Hi, My daughter has appeared for SSC (Maharashtra State Board) exam in 2017. She has won many competition award at District /State / National / International (Asia / World) organized by world karate organization and India / state government in the year 2012 - 2017 Few question related to this- 1) Is karate is considered as a sports* 2) Is she eligible for sports quota marks for SSC results 2017 3) If yes then what is to be done. Please clarity. |

Re: Karate is considered as a Sport? Eligibility for Sports quota in SSC? My daughter is appeared for 10th exam at 2017 she has participated on 2013 ,2014 for karate sports state level and nation level is she is eligible for sports quota. |

Yes, actually, I do think Karate is a sport. >>>In the year 2010, 2011 and 2012 additional 25 marks given under Sports quota >>>Students will get 15 to 25 marks depending upon their level of participation after year 2012 you need to provide related document to board |

Karate is considered as a Sport? Eligibility for Sports quota in SSC? Hi, My nephew is going to appear for SSC (Maharashtra State Board) exam in 2016. He has achieved many competition award organized by world karate organization and India / state government in the year 2012, 2013 & 2014. Few question related to this- 1) Is karate is considered as a sports 2) Is he eligible for sports quota marks for SSC results 2016 3) If he is what is to be done to enroll for the same.
