Re: Can I do M.Sc in Maths after B.Tech Mechanical? Yes, you are eligible to apply for MSc mathematics after B.tech. But I think it is best to do M.tech after B.Tech. After B.Tech you can apply for GATE this is the entrance exam for M.Tech. Most of the best universities take admission through GATE. M.Tech is 2 years course and it is master degree course. There are many options for the job in many companies. As you have done EEE branch then here are some companies in which you can apply for the job after M.Tech. Ashok Leyland BHEL BEL ESSAR HPCL IOCL Godrej L&T construction Mahindra & Mahindra These are reputed companies. Some companies conduct entrance exam for job. |

Re: Can I do M.Sc in Maths after B.Tech Mechanical?  Yes, definitely. You are eligible for pursuing the M,sc after the b.tech course. The stream depends on you. Also, if you want to do M.sc then definitely at some point of time in future ou will have to pursue your PHd since you seem to be interested in the research field.. If you are thinking of doing M.sc because of this thing in your mind then we would like to tell you that after b.tech, if you pursue M.tech then also you can proceed with your PHd. So, select your career accordingly keeping in mind all the odds and factors in mind. |

M.tech will be the best option for you as you have completed b.tech and in M.tech you have to study the same things of higher level but mathematics would be completely different as for higher study basic knowledges such as graduate level mathematics knowledge is required and may be possible that you would lose interest in mathematics after 1-2 semester . So,just think of M.tech,the best option available for you to shape your future. |
