Yes, you are eligible to apply for Bank PO, Clerk and specialist officer post after completion of your Mechanical Engineering course from a Government recognised university. Candidates who have passed Bachelor's degree course in any discipline from a Government recognised university are eligible to apply for bank jobs. So, being a Mechanical Engineering holder, you are eligible to apply for Bank PO, Clerk and specialist officer posts after completion of your Mechanical Engineering course from a recognised university. |

The eligibility criteria for Bank clerk and Probationary officer exam is: Academic qualification: Bachelor's degree or pursuing final year of bachelor's degree. Age limit for Clerk is 20-28 years and that for Probationary officer is 20-30 years. Three years upper age relaxation for OBC and five years to SC/ST candidates. Mechanical Engineers can apply for Bank PO and Clerk exam. |

To appear in banking recruitment examination minimum required qualification is bachelor degree in any discipline. As, you have completed your degree in mechanical engineering you are eligible to appear for banking examination. The age limit to appear for examination varies with post ( Clerk, PO etc ). Yes, you are eligible to appear in examination for Clerk, PO and Specialist officer. IBPS and SBI are two major examination conducting body which conducts examination for recruitment in banking job. |

Yes, surely you are eligible to apply for BANK PO exams as per the educational qualifications but you must also satisfy other eligibility requirements too to apply for the exam. ** Eligibility requirements :- * Nationality : The candidate must be an Indian Citizen. * Age criteria : For General : 21 years to 30 years For OBCs : 21 years to 33 years For SC/ST : 21 years to 35 years For PWD : caste relaxation + 10 years relaxation * Educational Qualifications : The candidate must have a bachelor's degree in any subject or equivalent from a recognized Board or University such as Central government. or Candidates who are currently pursuing their final year of graduation may also apply. or Candidates with the qualification of Chartered accountant may also apply. |

You can apply for Bank PO, Clerk Exam right after completion of Graduation including Engineering also. But for Specialist Officers you should have Masters right after graduation. Then you will be eligible for Specialist Officer. Eligibility for PO, Clerk : >> You should complete graduation with minimum percentage of marks from the recognized university. >> Age should be in between 21 to 28 years. >> Age relaxation will be applicable as per category. >> Final year students of graduation can also eligible to apply for Bank PO, Clerk. |

As you are a Bachelor degree holder in Technical stream as because B.Tech is a technical degree therefore you are eligible for all the posts you have mentioned. Eligibility criteria are as under:- Candidate must be a bachelor degree holder from a recognized university in any of the stream. Candidate must have scored at least 45% aggregate in their graduation. Candidate age should be 21 years to 28 years for Clerk abd it should be 21 years to 30 years for PO and other posts also. |

Engineering candidates are eligible for clerical and probationary officer examination of banks. IBPS which stands for Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection which conducts common written examination for clerical and PO exam of more than twenty nationalized banks have criteria that candidate must have completed bachelor's degree. The least age at which a candidate is eligible to apply for bank exam in case of IBPS is twenty years. Upper age limit for Clerk is 28 years and that for Probationary officer is 30 years. You can apply for IBPS CWE and SBI PO exam after completion of mechanical engineering. |

Yes, you are eligible to appear for bank PO, Clerk after completion of bachelor degree in mechanical engineering ( diploma in mechanical are not eligible). For appearing in these examination the basic qualification is bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognised university. But, for recruitment as a Specialist officer only candidates of particular stream are eligible for particular post. So, you will be only eligible for few post as IT officer. ( Bachelor of Engineering ) degree course in mechanical you are not eligible for appearing in bank examination for your recruitment as specialist officer as for your recruitment as IT officer your engineering degree should have been in anyone of the streams mentioned here which includes Information technology/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Computer Applications/ ECE/ Electronics and Instrumentation or Electronics and Telecommunication where as for Agricultural field officer post it should have been Agricultural engineering. But with mechanical engineering degree you can still apply for your recruitment in nationalized banks of India at the post of bank probationary officer and bank clerk. Further for your recruitment at these posts you need to qualify bank entrance examinations like IBPS bank examination and SBI bank examination and for details regarding these examination you can visit their respective official links which are www.ibps.in and www.sbiexam.com. |

The eligibility to appear for these examination is candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognised university. The age limit is not same for all examination and varies with examination. Candidates have to appear and qualify in all stages of examination for final selection. You have done bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, you can apply for Bank Clerk and PO exam. Mechanical engineers are not eligible for specialist examination. |

The minimum academic qualification required for banking entrance exam is bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Final year graduation candidates can also apply for entrance exams of banks. Mechanical engineering candidates can apply for Clerical and Probationary officer examination. Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection conducts common written exam for post of clerk and PO for nationalized banks. The age limit for Clerk is 20-28 years and that for PO is 20-30 years. Upper age relaxation applicable to candidates of reserved category. SBI conducts its own examination for these posts. The minimum age limit is 21 years. |
