NET Economics (Paper II) Exam - Download Previous Years Question Papers The National Eligibility Test is held by the National Educational Testing Bureau of the University Grants Commission. The test is held in the months of June and December. NET is the eligibility test for lectureship and Junior Research Fellowship. The exam is held for the subjects of Humanities, Social Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Forensic Science, Electronic Science, and Computer Science and Applications. For other science subjects, CSIR conducts the test jointly with UGC and the test is known as CSIR-UGC NET. Economics is one of the subjects of NET. There are two papers on the subject. Paper II is an objective paper, while paper III is subjective type. Paper II is of 100 marks and paper III is of 200 marks. There is no negative marking in paper II which has multiple choice type questions.
