Re: OBC category MBBS Admission in Maharashtra with 173 NEET score NEET is an entrance exam for getting admission in medicine & BDS. Based on your marks you can get admission in any medical college. The cut off marks for medicine admission in Maharashtra is mentioned below. Cut off marks & percentage: - General category: 50%, 692 - 99 - OBC category: 40%, 630 - 82 - SC category: 40%, 611 - 82 - ST category: 40%, 587 - 82 - PwD category: 45%, 590 - 90 The admission are given 85% for the state quota, 15% for all over India quota. |

Re: OBC category MBBS Admission in Maharashtra with 173 NEET score You can not get admission in medical colleges of Maharashtra after scoring 173 marks in NEET examination. OBC candidates with marks above 450 out of 720 have possibility of getting admission in medical colleges for MBBS course. |

Re: OBC category MBBS Admission in Maharashtra with 173 NEET score No, you can not get admission in any medical college of Maharashtra with 173 marks in NEET examination. For OBC candidates to get admission even under 85% state quota seats, marks should be above 460 marks as per previous year cut off marks and rank. |

You have qualified this examination but you will not be eligible to get admission in any government medical college. 2. To get admission in any medical college, your score should be at least above 500 marks if you belong to creamy layer of OBC candidates. For non creamy, it is 10-20 marks less than OBC creamy layer. |

Re: OBC category MBBS Admission in Maharashtra with 173 NEET score Your marks in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is just above qualifying marks which is 131 marks this year. There is very less chance of getting admission in any government medical college in MBBS course even if you belong to OBC. You should check cut off rank declared by various MBBS colleges of Maharashtra for admission process for OBC candidates to know exactly whether you will get admission or not. |
