Re: Can a BCA qualified candidate apply for IB or CBI? Sir, I am in 2nd year of BCA , my studies are still on And I am NCC cadet as well So I want you to guide me for the examination of IB as well what kind of course have to be done for this |

Hello, You can join CBI and IB after your BCA as BCA is a graduate degree and the forces which you want to get in are also required qualification of the candidate to be atleast graduate. So you are eligible to apply for the CBI and IB Selection Process - You have to prepare for SSC CGL Exam which is conducted every year by SSC. The exam for 2017 is scheduled to be held in august 2017 but unfortunately last date is over for the same. You can apply for it next year. Eligibility - 1. Age - 20-27 2. Education - Graduate in any discipline 3. Attempts - Varies as per your cast Exam fees is only 100 and if you are woman then it is also exempted for you |

Age Limit: Maximum Age Limit: 27 Years Pay-Scale: Assistant Central Intelligence Officer in Intelligence Bureau (IB) will be paid monthly Rs.9,300 – 34,800/ Following is Physical Criteria for Intelligence Officer: Eye Sight: The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of two eyes with or without Wearing of glasses. Height: 165 cms Height relaxable by 5 cms. In the case of Garwalis, Assamese, Gorkhas, Tribals, members of Kumaon Region, Nagas and Scheduled Tribes who as a race are short in height and not to the people declared as Scheduled Tribe. Chest: 81 cms. (fully expanded with a minimum expanses of 5 cms.) The candidate must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and they should possess high colour vision for the post of Sub-Inspector and Assistant Sub-Inspector. Weight : Corresponding to height for all Posts. Physical Efficiency: For male candidates only Walking : 1600 Meters (1.6 Km) in 15 minutes. Cycling : 08 Km in 30 minutes. For female candidates only Walking : 01 Km in 15 minutes. Cycling : 05 Km in 30 minutes. |

Re: Can a BCA qualified candidate apply for IB or CBI? i did my graduation from national institute of information technology under kuvempu university which is recognized by IGNOU its a distance education course, i have done BSC IT so am i eligible to apply in intelligence bureau or not. |

 To join CBI you need to appear for CGPE exam i.e. Combined Graduate preliminary Exam which is conducted by SSC board every year. Those candidate are graduate from any recognized university with any discipline are eligible for CBI exam.(Criminology) But your age should be in between 20 to 27 years old.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule. The maximum attempts for SC/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years. Also you must be in citizen in India. Re: Can a BCA qualified candidate apply for IB or CBI? dear friend, Eligibility for CBI exam:- 1.Candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade. 2.Candidates age should be in between 20-25 years. For SC/ST the upper age relaxation is 5 years. 3.Candidate must be a citizen of India. 4.Candidate must be physically fit.. These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill. As you have done BCA course then you are eligible for CBI exam.. All the best. |
